Sol Tea
30 Teabags One month supply
Gentle Enough Four of the safest herbs
Gluten Free Herbs only, nothing added
There's a specific kind of tired that stronger tonics make worse. If ginseng, astragalus, or cordyceps have ever left you more wired and depleted than before, you already know the pattern.
Sol is Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang, from the Shang Han Lun — written nearly two thousand years ago. Four herbs. That's the whole formula. It is as notable for its restraint as its reach: four of the gentlest herbs in the pharmacopoeia, aimed at some of the most stubborn presentations.
Traditionally used for rebuilding after illness has passed but strength hasn't returned — weak digestion, bloating, dizziness on standing, and fatigue that doesn't respond to pushing harder.
Why It Works
Gentle by Design Four of the mildest herbs in the pharmacopoeia. Nothing here overwhelms a system that has already been overwhelmed.
A Starting Point Often the first step before stronger tonics become tolerable. Build the floor before you add weight to it.
Being too depleted to tolerate a tonic is a real and specific clinical pattern, and Sol is one of the few formulas that addresses it head-on. If stronger herbs have backfired on you before, this is the place to begin.
Key Ingredients
| Ingredient | Traditional Action |
|---|---|
|
Fu Ling Poria Cocos |
Traditionally used to drain accumulated fluid and settle the digestion without draining strength along with it. |
|
Gui Zhi Cinnamon Twig Tips |
A gentle warming herb traditionally used to move circulation outward to the surface and limbs. |
|
Bai Zhu White Atractylodes |
Traditionally used to strengthen digestion and dry dampness — the anchor of the formula. |
|
Gan Cao Honey-Baked Licorice |
Harmonizes the other three and traditionally supports the digestive centre. The honey-baked preparation is the warming, tonifying form. |
How to Use
Place one to five teabags in a pot of water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover and simmer ten to twenty minutes. Strain and drink. Sol contains no seeds, but a short boil pulls the most out of it, and multiple long infusions are recommended. Store cool and dry, and refrigerate after opening. If the vacuum seal is broken when it arrives, do not use it.
About the Maker
Botanical Biohacking
Botanical Biohacking builds formulas the slow way — premium herbs balanced from both the traditional and the pharmacological side, with nothing added. Their oral products contain herbs and nothing else, which is harder to manufacture and easier to trust. They currently supply more than 500 clinics across 15 countries, and they will pause shipping on heat sensitive teas rather than send you a bag that degraded in a delivery truck.
