Peak Tea
30 Teabags One month supply
Two Formulas in One Xiao Chai Hu + San Ren Tang
Wild-Crafted Chai Hu Sourced from Tibet
Some illnesses don't end cleanly. The acute part passes, but something stays behind — heaviness, low appetite, a stuffy feeling in the chest, energy that rises and falls without a clear reason. It isn't quite being sick and it isn't quite being well.
Peak is a streamlined build on two classical formulas: Xiao Chai Hu Tang, the harmonizing formula for that in-between state, and San Ren Tang, which clears lingering damp-heat across the body. Botanical Biohacking has reduced them to five herbs rather than combining both in full.
Traditionally used where damp-heat lingers after an illness and leaves heaviness, poor appetite, and a stifling fullness that doesn't resolve on its own.
Why It Works
Wild-Crafted Chai Hu Harvested wild in Tibet rather than farmed. Chai Hu is the herb the whole formula turns on, so its quality decides the result.
Three Levels at Once San Ren Tang's logic is to open the top, the middle, and the bottom together, so dampness has somewhere to go.
A Light Touch Aromatic and draining rather than heavy and tonifying — appropriate when the system is already congested.
Peak is one of the heat-sensitive teas in the line. Botanical Biohacking pauses shipping during the hottest weeks of the year rather than send you a bag that lost its potency in a delivery truck.
Key Ingredients
| Ingredient | Traditional Action |
|---|---|
|
Chai Hu Bupleurum Root |
The chief herb, wild-crafted in Tibet. Traditionally used to harmonize the in-between state where an illness has neither resolved nor fully taken hold. |
|
Yin Chen Hao Artemisia Scoparia |
The classical herb for damp-heat, traditionally used to drain it out through the urine rather than let it sit. |
|
Ku Xing Ren Bitter Apricot Kernel |
Opens the upper burner. Traditionally used to descend lung qi so the chest stops feeling stuffed and closed. |
|
Bai Dou Kou White Cardamom |
Works the middle burner. Aromatic and warming, traditionally used to wake up a digestion that has gone flat and damp. |
|
Yi Yi Ren Job's Tears |
Works the lower burner. Traditionally used to drain dampness downward and relieve heaviness in the legs and joints. |
How to Use
This tea contains seeds and kernels, so give it a longer simmer — twenty to thirty minutes for a complete extraction. Place one to five teabags in a pot of water, bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover and simmer. Strain and drink. Re-brew until the flavor is gone.
Follow the directions rather than exceeding them; this formula contains bitter apricot kernel, which is used in measured traditional amounts. Store cool and dry, and refrigerate after opening. If the vacuum seal is broken when it arrives, do not use it.
About the Maker
Botanical Biohacking
Botanical Biohacking builds formulas the slow way — premium herbs balanced from both the traditional and the pharmacological side, with nothing added. Their oral products contain herbs and nothing else, which is harder to manufacture and easier to trust. They currently supply more than 500 clinics across 15 countries, and they will pause shipping on heat sensitive teas rather than send you a bag that degraded in a delivery truck.
