Glow Tea
30 Teabags One month supply
Moves Blood Warms and dissolves
Single-Origin Herbs Qi Xian mugwort, wild peach kernel
Period pain that arrives like clockwork, cramping that doubles you over, ovulation you can feel — these get dismissed as normal far too often. Chinese medicine has treated this pattern as a problem worth solving for nearly two thousand years.
Glow is Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan, first recorded in Essentials from the Golden Cabinet. Its traditional actions are to move blood and break up stasis. Botanical Biohacking adds Ai Ye to the classical build.
A 2014 systematic review of randomized trials found Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan effective at reducing uterine fibroid volume and easing the painful periods that accompany fibroid growth. It has also been studied extensively in PCOS.
Key Ingredients
| Ingredient | Traditional Action |
|---|---|
|
Gui Zhi Cinnamon Twig |
Warms and opens the vessels, traditionally used to get circulation moving where it has gone cold and static. |
|
Fu Ling Poria |
Traditionally used to drain accumulated fluid and calm the centre. |
|
Mu Dan Pi Peony Root Bark |
Traditionally used to clear heat from the blood while moving stasis — the cooling counterweight in a warming formula. |
|
Bai Shao White Peony Root |
Traditionally used to soften cramping and nourish blood — the herb that takes the edge off a gripping spasm. |
|
Dan Tao Ren Wild Mountain Peach Kernel |
The strongest blood-moving herb in the formula. Botanical Biohacking uses wild mountain peach kernel, processed to preserve its active enzymes rather than cook them flat. |
|
Qi Ai Ye Mugwort Leaf |
Added to the classical build. Sourced from four-year-old mugwort in Qi Xian, Hubei — Li Shizhen's hometown and the benchmark region for the herb. |
Glow warms and dissolves. Copeia nourishes and drains. Which one fits depends on whether the picture is more stuck or more depleted — and getting that right matters more than the dose.
How to Use
This tea contains seeds, so give it a longer simmer — twenty to thirty minutes for a complete extraction. Place one to five teabags in a pot of water, bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover and simmer. Strain and drink. Re-brew until the flavor is gone. Store cool and dry, and refrigerate after opening.
About the Maker
Botanical Biohacking
Botanical Biohacking builds formulas the slow way — premium herbs balanced from both the traditional and the pharmacological side, with nothing added. Their oral products contain herbs and nothing else, which is harder to manufacture and easier to trust. They currently supply more than 500 clinics across 15 countries.
* If you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or being treated for a gynecological condition, talk with your provider before use. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
