MOST POPULAR SHU HONG COMBO
Stop the Redness. Break the Cycle.
Daily terrain support + targeted flare intervention — the two-product foundation for red, reactive, and eczema-prone skin.
Why this is the #1 Shu Hong combination.
Most red, reactive skin needs two things at once: a daily product that keeps the terrain stable — and a targeted product that intervenes when a flare breaks through. Balanced does the first. Flare Control does the second. Together they address both the cause and the crisis, which is why this pair resolves conditions that single products can't.

Phase 1 — Red Relief Balanced Skin Toner
Use every day. On your whole face. This is the product that changes the terrain so flares happen less often and resolve faster when they do.
Hydrates without weight Tremella mushroom seals moisture deeper than hyaluronic acid — no grease
Reduces redness daily Clears surface heat and baseline inflammation — calmer skin week by week
Rebuilds the barrier pH 5.0–5.5 matched to your skin's acid mantle — so Flare Control has a stronger foundation

— Clinical Practitioner, Shu Hong Botanicals
Phase 2 — Red Relief Flare Control
Not daily. Not for your whole face. This goes directly on the flare when eczema erupts, a rash appears, or itching becomes unbearable.

"For eczema, I would not use Fire Control — it will be too drying. I stick with Flare Control on affected areas, let it dry, then follow with Balanced. Balanced is really important for eczema patients because we need to replace the moisture barrier."
— Clinical Practitioner, Shu Hong Botanicals
How to Use This Combo
Every morning and evening — spray Balanced on your whole face
Cleanse, pat dry, close eyes, spray. Neck and chest too. Let it absorb. Most people don't need a separate moisturizer. This is your daily foundation.
When a flare erupts — apply Flare Control directly to the outbreak
Spray on affected areas only — not the whole face. Allow to dry completely before applying anything else. Flare Control is intentionally drying for wet, oozing, itchy lesions.
After Flare Control dries — follow with Balanced over the surrounding area
This step is critical. Flare Control clears the outbreak. Balanced restores the moisture barrier that eczema disrupts. The sequence — clear then restore — is what breaks the cycle.
Sensitive skin? Apply Balanced first, let it dry, then Flare Control over the active area. This reduces any potential irritation.
Once the flare resolves — return to Balanced daily
Balanced is the long game. Every week of consistent use strengthens the terrain — fewer flares, calmer baseline, more resilient skin. This is how you stop reacting to everything.
Who This Combo Is For
What's Not In It Matters Too
Both products contain the highest active botanical concentration of any comparable skincare product — preserved entirely with Lucidol (fermented radish), Propanediol (plant-derived glycol), and Geogard (certified natural). Each preservative independently benefits the skin.
The Shu Hong System — Where This Combo Fits
Need Phase 3 too? If your skin has nerve-level burning, deep pain, or psoriasis, Fire Control is available separately and layers on top of this combo.
Shu Hong Botanicals™ products are cosmetic, skin-supportive topical formulations intended to support healthy skin function and comfort. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Clinical observations are practitioner accounts shared for educational purposes. Individual results vary. For external use only. Patch test before first use on reactive skin. Discontinue if irritation worsens. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical skin concerns.
Before you order
Start with our free Topical Guide, or go with what you feel. Topicals such as Evil Bone Water act fast on sore muscles, bruises and stiff joints; salves and balms stay on the skin longer; teas and herbal supplements support the body from the inside. Still unsure? Call the clinic at (541) 760-9670 or email will@valleyhealthclinic.com and a practitioner will point you the right way.
